Cat Tales. Mother - daughter dynamics
250 RONThe first mirror disappears. The image it leaves within us remains.
The relationship with the mother begins before our first memories and continues long after childhood. It influences the way a woman sees herself, lives her femininity, builds relationships, and learns to give or receive love.
Cat Tales. Mother-Daughter Dynamics is a set of 46 projective cards that explores the mother-daughter relationship through the symbolic metaphor of the adult cat and the kitten. The images invite reflection on the experiences that shape feminine identity and on the traces they leave in adult life. At the same time, they offer the therapist a symbolic language through which clients can explore one of the deepest relationships in their lives: the relationship with the mother.
Each card can open conversations about:
- closeness, safety, and belonging
- care, autonomy, and healthy boundaries
- criticism, comparison, and perfectionism
- self-image and the inner voice built in relation to the maternal figure
